A wide variety of printmaking techniques on display

Hull Print Collective is local community group with members who are from Hull, the East Riding, and North Lincolnshire. A number of members print at home in their own studios, others print at Eastgate Print Studio, Beverley, Feral Art School, Hull, and the Ropewalk Print Studio, Barton on Humber.

The group is an evolving group of printmakers employing a very personal approach covering a wide range of subject matter. Prints on display reflect this personal interest by adopting a graphic and abstract, decorative or narrative approach to the world. The Collective explore a wide variety of printmaking techniques including etching, aquatint, lino print, collagraph, monotype, mezzotint and screen print.

Many of the group have been members for a number of years and have exhibited prints in local and national galleries. Three of our members have had prints selected for the print exhibition at Ironbridge Fine Arts and Framing, Coalbrookdale and will be on display until November 16th 2024, and three of our members have had prints selected for the Royal Academy of Arts Summer exhibitions.
