Thinking through Drawing is an exhibition of current work made by artists, Esther Cawley and Emma Garness.
Observational drawing from nature is central to both artists’ work, from which elements of abstraction, figuration, and experimentation are interwoven.
By actively allowing for spontaneity and change during the process of drawing, strange and abstracted passages open up space for the viewer’s interpretation.
