After the success of Beverley Betrayal last year, Catherine Derrick brings three short drama comedy plays to the theatre.

These plays take place in and near Beverley.

Family Tree

Jackie and Steve’s new next door neighbours Rob and Karen are always complaining. To make matters worse, Steve is a Hull FC fan and Rob is a Hull Kingston Rovers fan which causes rivalry. When Karen receives an unexpected inheritance, envious Jackie decides to trace her family tree in the hope of finding nobility and money. Not everything works out as planned.

Not In My Back Yard

When four cottage owners in a village near Beverley learn that there are plans to build a factory in a field behind their properties they hatch a plan to stop the development. They decide to jointly buy the land and extend their gardens. The cottage owners get excited about what to do with their individual plots but they get more than they bargained for!

For The Love of Money

Grace is a wealthy old lady and all alone in the world. Geoff her gardener and his wife Sue are plotting to inherit her money when she dies. Is Grace as naive as they think she is and who is manipulating who? There are some twists and turns in this comedy drama.
