An interesting collection of images

Jane Bree is  amateur artist living in Beverley,

She doesn’t paint much, maybe one painting in a year sometimes.

The exhibition is not so much a collection as an assortment of images that she has created over the years. Many of the paintings (acrylics) are not linked in any way. However Jane did go through a period of painting birds and so you could say that this is her bird collection.

Jane states that she paints for peace:

“I can think of little else when I am painting, so it has absolutely helped me through some difficult times and feelings in my life”.

One of Jane’s favourite paintings ‘Life’s rich tapestry’, is the result of a long and difficult winter. It reflects her yearning for warmer weather and brighter days. All of her paintings are, in her opinion, aesthetically pleasing and organic, they usually feature plants and animals in some shape or form.
