We are pleased to announce the plays that will be featured at PlayLab in July

Over the past three months we have received nearly 200 play submissions to PlayLab from playwrights within the region and further beyond. We have been astounded by the volume of applications made and the exceptional quality of the content that has been written. The evaluation process has been extremely difficult, with all plays being carefully reviewed by our group of dramaturgs, before a final shortlist was selected.

You can choose to see several performances on one night or enjoy the whole PlayLab experience over our three-day event. Whatever your preference, we are confident that you will enjoy the experience and you will be part of our inaugural PlayLab event…

Voices from the Past 

Drama by Nicola Bailey | 30 min | Monologue about growing up in Sheffield and Thatcher’s government

The One Good Thing
